I cannot believe how quickly this month has gone by, things have been pretty busy with the kid’s birthday, planning a party and then changing it when my daughter caught a tummy bug 2 days before… But here we are, finally writing the blog posts/reviews I planned for this month. Better late than never 😅
So without further ado, here are my thoughts on this month’s beauty box, with 3 full size and one travel size products worth a whooping £71.
🦋 Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist – 30ml (worth £9)
I have already used and reviewed this lovely little face mist here along with the cleansing oil from the same brand. It is made from organic rose water, sprays a very fine mist that is refreshing and smells beautiful. I find that whatever I apply after using it works better (applying products on damp skin tends to make them sink in better).
I am very pleased to have another one to use and enjoy.
🦋 Butterwhips Warmly Relaxing Whipped Body Butter 75g (worth £18)
Another great find in this month’s box, this body butter has a gorgeous, rich, buttery mousse texture that I love. It smells so beautiful and relaxing thanks to the bergamot and lavender essential oils (my favourite combination of essential oils for relaxation). It is very rich so great for skin that is very dry, it does leave a moisturising film on the skin so probably isn’t something you would lather on your whole body unless your skin is very dry. I love using it on my hands/feet before bed and I think I will love it even more once the weather cools down and my hands start feeling dry again!
🦋 Ooh! – Oils of Heaven Natural Blackcurrant Face Oil 30ml (worth £19)
An oil suitable for all skin types, it does not feel greasy at all once applied and sinks in really well and fast (so probably not the best oil for a face massage, but a great oil to use during the day as you don’t have to wait for it to sink in!). Full of antioxidants, this oils is said to help with inflammation and uneven skin tone.
The bottle is clear glass so it is important to keep it in a dark place so that the oil doesn’t oxidise, which would reduce its shelf life.
🦋 Inika Certified Organic Lip & Cheek Cream – Morning 3.5g (worth £25)
A new product from Inika, I was lucky to get to try the shade “morning” which is a lovely peachy colour (one of my favourite colours so I am really pleased I received that one 😁). It has a slight shimmer to it which I really like, the colour is more subtle/less pigmented than it looks in the pot so it can look very natural or be built up for a more colourful finish. I found that it also works really as a cream eye shadow, which has been my favourite way to use it ! 😉
